This 5.8% Hazy Pale Ale was inspired by the rolling fog that often blankets the hinterland behind our coastal village. Heavy doses of flaked wheat and oats are added to the mash which result in a smooth pillowy mouthfeel and gorgeous hazy appearance. This is a triple dry hopped beer which means that we have added copious amounts of hops at three different times to the fermenting vessel that has housed the beer for the past couple of weeks after it was brewed. It is also a process that gives our accountant conniptions! The ridiculous hopping regime results in a menagerie of stone fruit flavours that is super tasty, super balanced and covers your mouth in a tongue coating wave of flavour like the fog rolling into the hills behind us.
